1 Tbs Olive oil
1 Tbs Butter
2 ea Swordfish fillets, ~6 oz each
1 tsp Garlic, minced
2 tsp Chives, chopped
2 Tbs Butter

Preheat oven to 400°F.
In an oven-proof pan, heat the olive oil & butter over medium high heat.
Sprinkle both sides of the swordfish with kosher or coarse-ground salt & freshly ground black pepper.
When the oil is hot, add the swordfish fillets to pan and let cook until browned on one side, about 3 minutes (do not move the fish around much).
Turn the fish over and transfer the pan to the oven. Roast for 6-10 minutes or until the center is just cooked through.
When out of the oven, transfer swordfish to plates. Add the butter, garlic, & chives to pan on stovetop. Cook over medium high heat, mixing & scraping up browned bits, until melted & bubbling.
Pour the butter mixture over the swordfish & serve.
